For a year, he taught Biology 2 and Chemistry for a year, but when he was about to leave, Mr. Staley requested that he become the Biology teacher for the ETA. At first this was meant to be temporary, but they decided to keep him. He teaches Biology to the incoming freshmen, and stays after school to help those who need it.
Ms. Perez:

Ms. Perez studied English at Worcester State University after graduating from North High School. After receiving a Bachelors in English, she went back to Worcester State to obtain a Post-Baccalaureate in education. She returned to North High School to be a student teacher, and a substitute teacher following that. Once she left North, she came to Doherty and joined the ETA. She knows how important freshman year English is for students, and she hopes to get those who may not be huge fans of the class excited to read and to write. She builds up their skills in freshman year so that they might be built upon in the years to come.
